1. Acceptance of Terms

By playing undercover.gg or visiting this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all users of the game and the website.

2. The Service

undercover.gg is a free multiplayer social deduction word game that runs as a Discord Activity — inside Discord voice and text channels via Discord's Embedded App SDK. The game is operated by an individual developer based in Geneva, Switzerland.

The service is provided free of charge with no in-app purchases, no premium tiers, and no subscriptions. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice. We do not guarantee any specific level of uptime or availability.

3. Eligibility

To use undercover.gg, you must meet Discord's minimum age requirements (13 years old in most jurisdictions, or older where required by local law). By using the service, you confirm that you meet these requirements. If you are a minor, you should have parental consent before using any online service.

4. User Conduct

undercover.gg is meant to be fun for everyone. When using the service, you agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, or use automated tools to gain an unfair advantage
• Harass, bully, or intimidate other players
• Use the game to share offensive, hateful, or illegal content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise interfere with the game's infrastructure
• Violate Discord's own Terms of Service while using the Activity

If you encounter a bug, please report it to contact@undercover.gg rather than exploiting it.

5. Intellectual Property

The undercover.gg game, brand, website, logo, word lists, and all associated content are the intellectual property of the operator. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the service without prior written permission.

Discord and the Discord logo are trademarks of Discord Inc. undercover.gg is an independent application and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Discord Inc.

6. User-Generated Content

During gameplay, players provide clues and interact with each other in real time. These in-game interactions are ephemeral — they are not stored permanently on our servers. You are responsible for what you say during a game session. Content that violates these terms or Discord's guidelines may result in access being restricted.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. Use the service at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service. Because the game is free and no financial transaction occurs, the operator's total liability for any claim shall not exceed CHF 100.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the service for any user who violates these terms, without prior notice. Because the game runs through Discord, such a restriction would take the form of blocking access at the application level.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Swiss law. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or the use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Geneva, Switzerland.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
